New Rising Voices project

Dear GV Community,

We are pleased to announce the launch of a new Rising Voices initiative to build a methodology and draft curricula for digital advocacy training. We will initially focus on women leaders working in development the global South, but we aim to build something that will be useful in many other fields. We've run advocacy and activism training projects for years, and this is a chance for us to consolidate our learning and practices.

This initial phase of the project will create the guiding principles for our digital advocacy training, which can then be adapted to different contexts in the global South. It will run for approximately nine months. The project is being funded by the New Venture Fund with support from the Gates Foundation.

We hope this new project will be of interest to the GV community, and we'd like to thank everyone who expressed interest in working on it. We hope to create many opportunities to engage and contribute. If the topic sounds interesting, please reach out to Abir or Eddie Avila.
