The upcoming New Year means our social media feeds will be flooded with mainstream media articles informing readers of the “best” things that happened in the year gone by. This is the perfect opportunity to remind the world of some of Global Voices’ top stories from 2015, and who better to do so than our wonderfully diverse community?

With that in mind, we're asking all GVers:

What was your favorite Global Voices story of 2015?

It could be a story that surprised you or touched you in some way, challenged a stereotype that you held, sparked a conversation, or one that you personally worked on and found the experience enlightening.

We'll bring together all of the responses into a post published on the Global Voices main site. But 2016 is fast approaching! To participate, please fill out the form below before December 25, 2015.
