For the second year in a row, the American Literary Translators Association is accepting applications for a mentorship program for emerging translators from French, Polish, Russian, and any Singaporean language into English. According to ALTA, “The ALTA Mentorship Program is designed to facilitate and establish a close working relationship between an experienced translator and an emerging translator on a project selected by the emerging translator.” Learn more about applying here [1] and note that the deadline is May 15, 2016!

Check out that short post and more of her many great tips for both emerging and experienced translators. Her blog is a truly great resource!

Jason Koebler wrote a great post for Motherboard talking all about why this will never happen. Take a look here [4] and tell us what you think!
