Do your Facebook posts get lots of attention and shares? Do you find yourself spending a lot of time on the Global Voices site AND social media? Do you want to help spread the GV mission on social media?
We are looking for a dynamic social media savvy GVer, like yourself, to join our social media team!
The Social Media Editor will be responsible for:
a.) Coordinating with fellow social media editors to publish and schedule short posts on Global Voices Facebook and Global Voices Tumblr.
b.) Help run and coordinate our community Instagram and Snapchat accounts.
c.) Provide monthly analytics updates about Global Voices Facebook, Snapchat, Tumblr and Instagram accounts and use the data from analytics to help inform posting strategies.
d.) Help promote Advox campaigns on our social media channels.
e.) Coordinate with newsroom editors and social media editors on Slack.
f.) Experiment with new social media platforms.
g.) Have a solid internet connection and be available for 15 hours a week.
