New Lingua feature: Translation notifications!

Hi all, this is a quick update to let you know we've added a new type of notification to the Global Voices WordPress setup. Now, when a translation is published, the writers of the original post will get an email letting them know!

This is a long-requested feature from both authors and translators, so I'm really happy I made time to set it up. We're always looking for ways to celebrate our amazing volunteer translators, and show our writers how far and wide their stories are being shared.

Here's a preview of how the notification might look:

We did our best to ensure it's clear why you're getting the email, and how to unsubscribe, since it can be a little tricky to log into the right WordPress site and turn off the notifications using the setting in your user profile.

Please let me know if you find any bugs or issues with this new feature!
