My name is Mohamed ElGohary, and I am honoured to announce my candidacy for the Contractors’ Representative seat on the Global Voices Board of Directors.

Our contractor community, the department heads, team leads, and managers who keep our daily operations running, faces unique challenges. Having scaled global networks to thousands of contributors, I understand the logistical and emotional work required to sustain our mission. I want to make sure your hard work is supported with strong, structural backing at the highest level of our organisation.

My campaign is built on three core priorities:

• Enhancing Board Efficacy: I am committed to driving better board performance by ensuring our quarterly meetings translate into actionable, transparent strategies that directly benefit our daily operations.

• Bridging the Community-Board Divide: The board exists to serve you, yet the distance between strategic governance and ground-level community work can sometimes feel vast. I'll serve as your dedicated, two-way channel, keeping your operational realities, feedback, and concerns front and centre in the boardroom.

• Empowering Community Leadership: Supercharging our community management is essential for our future. We need to equip our community managers and team leads across all departments with the tools, streamlined workflows, and support they need to nurture and grow our network.
