I have an engineering Master's Degree in Urban and Territorial Planning and I am currently training as technical translator. I have stumbled on Global Voices and I have continued to read, thrilled by the project, its ethics and its community. I like that GV reports on stories that cannot be read anywhere else. In 2018, I have jumped in Lingua Project and try it for myself.
