Rohith Jyothish is a Visiting Faculty (Political Economy of India's Development) at the Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics (GIPE), Pune. He is also a teaching fellow at the Department of Political Science, Ashoka University (Delhi NCR) and a researcher at the civic media observatory at Global Voices. Currently, he is an Assistant Editor at the peer-reviewed academic journal, Big Data & Society. Previously, he worked in public policy organisations in management, research and founder trustee roles for around 8 years. He is a PhD in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi.
