Global Voices’ Esperanto Lingua Translation Manager Herman Dekeŭnink translated the originally French-Dutch bilingual novel “Perception de Delvaux” (Perception of Delvaux) by author Jean Jauniaux who is the president of PEN Club Belgique, the Belgian French-speaking center of PEN International.

The fiction has been published in 2018 and recounts an unexpected event that occurred at the Delvaux Museum during a visit to Saint Idesbald (Belgium) by a group of Japanese tourists. Dekeŭnink translated the work, which has been edited by Japana Esperanta Librokooperativo, into Esperanto.
